Click Footer in the toolbar or select a footer element in the canvas. The footer is composed of configurable sub-sections and is stored per language so translated legal and link text remains independent.
Layout modes
- One Column — footer blocks are stacked vertically
- Two Columns — blocks are assigned to a left or right column
Footer sub-sections
Each sub-section can be turned on or off individually:
- Logo
- Social Links
- Legal Notice / Imprint
- Free Text
- Footer Links
- Copyright
- App Download Buttons
- Unsubscribe text where supported by the template
- Footer-specific font settings
Editing a sub-section
Click on any sub-section directly in the canvas preview to jump to its settings. Or use the footer panel on the left to navigate between sub-sections.
The footer design is synchronized from the primary editor, while translatable footer text remains specific to each language. Shopify reads the appropriate locale-specific footer Metafield when the email is sent.
