Medical ID automatically creates your Advance Directive as a PDF – or you can upload an existing one.
Variant 1: Create with Medical ID
In the generator, your Advance Directive is automatically created as a PDF. The legal sections have already been checked; you add your personal free text and your information.
Procedure: 1. Open Advance Directive → Directive and select Create with Medical ID. 2. Select Start or Open Generator. 3. Fill in the required fields. Name and date of birth are from Personal Data; complete your medical Instructions, representation details, and place and date. 4. Put your signature under My signature. 5. Select Save and recreate PDFs – the PDF will be generated and saved per display language.
Free text and languages
- What you write in the current language in the text field will be automatically translated into your other languages (DeepL) when you save it.
- If you want a different source language, first select the tab of that language at the top and write there.
- Alternatively, you can maintain each language yourself in manual mode.
Option 2: Upload your own directive
Already have a Advance Directive? Open Advance Directive → Directive, select Upload your own directive and then Upload. Upload the file as a PDF per language. Up to 2 pages are possible in the free version, up to 4 pages during the trial period and with Lifetime. A file can be no larger than 10 MB. Select the correct document language in the tab bar.
You can replace or delete an uploaded Advance Directive later. Then check PDF Preview or in the download to see if the correct version is stored.
Treatment Instructions / Blood Products
In the treatment instructions, you can specify detailed wishes (e.g. for blood and blood components). If you activate this list, you will have to fill it out completely – incomplete information can lead to your treatment request not being taken into account in emergencies.
Tariff notice
With a Free account you only download/create the Advance Directive in your residence language. With Lifetime you unlock all languages.
Download
You can download a Advance Directive created with the generator under Downloads per language via With signature or Without signature. On the other hand, you can open or download a self-uploaded Advance Directive in the Advance Directive → Directive area.
