Analytics, Open Tracking, and Click Tracking

The Analytics page shows activity for installed Smart Emails templates. Tracking is controlled separately for each template. Enable tracking 1. Open Analytics from the app navigation. 2. Find an installed template under Tracking Inactive. 3. Click Enable tracking. 4. Send or trigger new emails after tracking has been enabled. You can disable tracking again from the template card. Historical events already recorded remain part of the selected reporting period until they age out or are cleaned up. Available reporting periods Switch between the last 7, 30, or 90 days. The summary can show total opens, total clicks, the top template, the top clicked section, and the number of templates with tracking enabled. Click-tracked sections Smart Emails records supported links in these section types: - Recommended Products - Featured Product - Discounts - Gift Card - Reorder - custom Button - Shop Links The template chart and legend show which supported sections received clicks. Understanding open counts Open tracking uses a small remote image. Privacy protection, image blocking, proxy caching, and preloading by receiving email services can prevent an open or create an automated open. Open numbers are therefore estimates, not a guaranteed count of individual readers. Click tracking is generally more direct, but security scanners and automated link checks can also generate requests. | Enable tracking only where it fits your privacy policy and applicable law. Smart Emails Analytics is operational reporting and is not a replacement for a consent-management or legal-compliance review.
